Thank you for your interest and desire to join the Honduran Fellowship of Missionaries and Ministries. We are excited to see God move through the efforts of His body working together. You are a vital part of His body and His plan for this nation.

There are two classifications of membership for missionaries joining as a single adult, married couple, or family:

  1. General Membership: This membership level is for those individuals/couples/families joining the Honduran Fellowship who are not seeking coverage for residency or seeking to join as an organization.  The cost for this level of membership is $60 per year for a single adult.  For a couple or family, the annual fee is $80 per year*. There is also a one-time fee of $40 per adult for a background check conducted by an outside firm.  In addition, if a single member marries after receiving membership, the new spouse will also be required to pay this one-time fee for a background check, regardless of whether they are involved in ministry.

  2. Residential Membership: This membership level is for those individuals/couples/families joining the Honduran Fellowship to obtain temporary missionary residency.  The cost of this level of membership is $110 per year* for a single adult.  For a couple or family, the annual fee is $175 per year*.  There is also a one-time fee of $40 per adult for a background check conducted by an outside firm.  If a single member marries after receiving membership, the new spouse will also be required to pay this one-time fee for a background check, regardless of whether they are involved in ministry.  Other costs associated with this level of membership are listed below:

  • A one-time administrative cost of $800* to cover the costs of an HFMM staff member walking members through the residency process and fees associated with communicating with immigration on behalf of the missionary.  This includes the necessary constancia needed to obtain residency through HFMM.

  • $110*  per child for costs of document translations and authentications

  • $101* per person, per year  of residency requested, is paid to the Department of Immigration (Residency can be obtained for up to 5 years)

  • Please keep in mind that the missionary will be responsible for keeping their visa up-to-date, which costs $21 per month until residency is obtained
