(Hotel y Cabañas ROS (https://www.facebook.com/HotelYCabanasRos/)/ Villas del Valle)(https://www.facebook.com/villasdelvalle.hn/) 1. These hotels are located about 5 minutes apart from each other. Both will be used for lodging, and breakfast will be served at the hotel where you are staying. 2. Hotel Cabanas Ros will be used for all of our adult and children’s sessions, as well as all meals. 3. Hotel Villas del Valle will be used for all youth sessions and activities.
- 02All HFMM Members in good standing will be sent an email with the link to register via Eventbrite starting on Tuesday, February 3rd at 9:30 am (Honduras time). You should not contact the hotel directly to make your reservation. You will want to register quickly to guarantee your spot, as space is limited, and registration will close once all spaces are full or on February 23rd, whichever comes first. There are separate tickets for adults, youth (ages 12-18), children (ages 6-11), and nursery/preschool (ages 0-5). Please include your whole family that will be attending in the same registration.
- 03If there are no more tickets available or if there are not enough tickets available for your whole family, please do not register only part of your family. Contact Melodee Webb directly (melodee.webb@honduranfellowship.org)(mailto:melodee.webb@honduranfellowship.org) to be put on a waiting list in the order in which we have received your email, and you will be notified as soon as a spot is available.
- 04Yes, we are planning a second retreat, tentatively scheduled September 24-27 in La Ceiba for our members. We ask that you choose only one retreat to attend so that there is room for everyone.
- 05No, our retreats are a gift to and a benefit for our members. They are an opportunity to disconnect from ministry and connect with other missionaries. You are highly encouraged to attend one if you can, as part of the vision of HFMM is to provide places and opportunities for our members to have fellowship with each other, but no, they are not required.
- 06Yes, we would love to have other missionaries come and get to know us! However, we want to allow our members to register first, so we will open registration for non-members at a later time if there are still spots available. There are, however, a few parameters to qualify to attend: 1. At least one spouse must be a full-time Christian missionary, from another country, serving in Honduras. 2. At least one current HFMM member must be listed in the registration who can serve as a reference. 3. Please be sure to select Non-Member Tickets.
- 07Yes, while HFMM loves to provide retreats to our members at no cost, there will be a small cost to attend the retreat. We are offering you a “Buy One Night, Get Two Free” price for adults and youth ages 12 and up. HFMM will cover the cost of your other two nights as well as the entire cost of children ages 11 and under. 1. Children & Adults ages 12 and up: $75 a person. (The cost for non-members, children & adults ages 12 and up: $200 a person.) 2. All children ages 11 and under: FREE 3. If you live in the area and would prefer to stay in your own home, there will be no cost to attend the retreat. However, you must let us know which meals (lunches and dinners only) you would like on the registration form. You will not be able to add meals last minute. (Please only register meals that you will eat – HFMM will be charged for these, and we desire to be good stewards of our finances.) 4. Scholarships are available for any members who would like to attend but cannot at this time afford to do so. Please contact Melodee Webb (melodee.webb@honduranfellowship.org)((melodee.webb@honduranfellowship.org) to be considered for a scholarship before completing your registration. 5.
- 08Once you have registered for your tickets via Eventbrite, you will be sent an email with the information on how to make your payment through PayPal, with a specific link for the HFMM Events. Please use the link that we send you, not the PayPal links that are used for paying membership dues or residency fees. Please make the payment immediately following your registration to secure your place. Your place will not be reserved until payment has been received.
- 091. Three nights of lodging at either Hotel Cabanas Ros or Hotel Villas del Valle 2. All meals (dinner Thursday - breakfast Sunday), coffee breaks & snacks However, transportation costs to and from the retreat are not included and must be arranged and paid for on your own.
- 10We will send a full schedule to all registered attendees once it is finalized, but here is what you can expect: 1. Check-in & Registration begins at 3:00 pm on Thursday, March 12, 2026 2. Evening sessions after dinner on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights 3. Morning sessions on Friday and Saturday 4. Lots of free time to enjoy fellowship and family time at the hotel pool, explore the town of Valle de Angeles - or stay in your bed sleeping if you want - on Friday and Saturday afternoons 5. Opportunities to meet privately with pastors, speakers, and/or HFMM staff for counsel, prayer, and advice during free times - child care will be available if needed 6. Check-out is at 10:00 am on Sunday, March 15, after breakfast.
- 11We highly encourage you to take the time to attend the whole retreat. If you cannot, we would still love to have you, but we ask that you wait one week from when you receive the registration information to reserve your spot, to give priority to those who can. The cost of the retreat will be the same whether you attend all 3 nights or not, but we ask that you inform us when registering how many nights you will be staying so that we can give the correct numbers to the hotel.
- 12Send us an email (melodee.webb@honduranfellowship.org) as soon as possible. We understand that family and ministry emergencies happen. If you need to cancel your reservation, we'd like to make your spot available to someone on our waitlist and refund your money. However, if you cancel after February 23, we will not be able to give you a refund, as we have to make our final payment to the hotel by that date. If your arrival or departure date (or meals needed) changes from your initial registration, you must inform us, as that will affect the overall cost that HFMM will need to pay if you do not inform us in advance.
- 13Both Hotel Cabanas Ros and Hotel Villas del Valle have rooms of varying sizes available for us to use. Depending on the size of your family, we will make sure you are assigned a room that will meet your needs. If you are single, you will most likely be sharing a room. Rooms will be assigned ahead of time, and we will let you know before the retreat which hotel you will be staying at. If you live locally, you are invited to stay with us at the hotel or to stay in your own home, whichever you prefer. Just make sure you let us know when you register.
- 14Bring them with you! HFMM Retreats are for the whole family! Childcare will be provided for infants and toddlers, and Kids Ministry and Youth Group will take place during all adult sessions. Times of fun, connection, fellowship, and ministry are just as important for our kids as for the adults.
- 15When you complete the registration form for your child’s ticket to attend, you will be asked to share with us any additional information that you feel would be helpful for our Kids/Youth Ministry Team to be aware of, such as feeding and nap schedules (for babies) allergies, special needs, learning or other disabilities, English Language level (for second language learners) etc.
- 16All of our team members have been vetted to serve in the kids ministry, have submitted a background check, and have been made aware of our kids ministry policies. No one will have access to the area that our kids and youth will be meeting in other than Team Members, HFMM event staff, and parents or guardians. All kids ages 0-11 must be signed in and out by the parent or guardian who is listed on their registration form.
- 171. Hotel Cabanas Ros, which will be our main campus, has given us full use of their hotel rooms, meeting rooms, and spaces, but they might have other guests making use of the restaurant, pools, and other public areas at the same time we will be there. Please be aware of who is around and do not leave your personal belongings unattended. 2. Hotel Villas de Valle will be reserved completely for HFMM members. 3. Both hotels have a small pool. There are no lifeguards at either pool, so please take caution when swimming, and do not allow children to swim or be at the pool unsupervised during the free times.
- 18If you have any additional questions or concerns that were not addressed, feel free to reach out to Melodee Webb (melodee.webb@honduranfellowship.org)((melodee.webb@honduranfellowship.org) and she would be happy to help you.
