Becoming a Corporate Member

APPLY NOW

Corporate Membership is for those ministries already established. It is of greatest benefit to ministries with several missionaries serving in Honduras.  The missionaries who are part of your organization will be affiliate members and have the same benefits as general membership, without having to pay membership fees for each person.  For those missionaries within your organization needing residency, we can provide those services as well.

The cost for this level of membership is determined by how many missionaries are under the organization.  Missionaries within the organization are counted as "units".  For example, a family or couple is one unit.  A single missionary is also one unit.  This number does not include local staff and volunteers.

  • 1-5 missionary units -     $225*

  •  6 - 10 missionary units - $250*

  • 11-15 missionary units -   $275*

  • 16-20 missionary units - $300*

  • 21-30 missionary units - $350*

  • 31+ missionary units - $425*

In addition to the amount listed above, an annual fee of $45 will be charged for each missionary unit seeking residency through HFMM.

Benefits of membership with Honduran Fellowship include (for each missionary within the organization):

  • full access to the network of missionaries

  • right to vote during annual General Assembly (main contact only)

  • access to available resources, workshops, and annual retreat

  •  membership card (valid for one year) to be used for discounts at participating stores and hotels

  • local health insurance

  •  covering to obtain temporary missionary residency

Requirements of membership with Honduran Fellowship include:

  • Send your organization’s statement of faith, vision, missions, objectives.

  • Maintain a good Christian testimony as an organization.

  • Abide by home country and Honduran law.

  • Make sure all missionaries in the organization are aware of events and information sent by HFMM. This is the primary responsibility of the contact person.

  • Send a representative to attend the annual General Assembly. Exceptions are made for extenuating circumstances.

  • Support the fulfillment of the objectives of the organization.

  • Pay membership fees by January 6th of each year.

  • Fill out and send in annual ministry survey

  • In the event of a major transition in ministry, present a plan of action to the HFMM office within 6 months.

  • Inform the HFMM office of any missionaries within your organization needing residency or health insurance.

  • Inform the HFMM office of any changes (such as contact person and current lists of missionaries).

Once we have received your application, a member of our staff will be contacting your reference.  This should be someone who is familiar with the work of the ministry as a whole, preferably a pastor or board member from outside Honduras.  After this has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted for more information, including a list of all missionaries within your organization.  Upon approval, you will be asked to pay your membership fee, after which time your organization will officially be a member of HFMM.  This process could take up to a month for us to complete.  Please do not pay any fees or send any documents to our office until you are contacted by our staff.

* NOTE: Fees can be paid in US Dollars or in Honduran Lempiras at the current daily exchange rate. Membership fees are renewable by the 6th of January of each year.
